1. Who we are

These terms are between you and Wicklight Ventures LLC ("we," "us"). Flare Town is a product of Wicklight Ventures LLC. The site is an independent, educational reading of public Flare, XRP Ledger, and Firelight data.

Flare Town is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of the Flare Foundation, Ripple, Ripple Labs, Firelight Finance, or their affiliates. Nothing on the site is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. We do not take custody of coins. Other projects' names and marks belong to their owners.

2. Using the site

Anyone may view the live readings, the last 7 days of charts, the glossary, and the walkthroughs, subject to these terms. Features may change over time. Public data can be late, wrong, or missing. Readings are snapshots, not an order book, not a forecast, and not a promise of profit.

3. Eligibility

A paid Town Pass is for people 18 or older, or a parent or guardian buying for a household. If you are under 18, do not pay without that adult. Do not use the site where doing so is illegal.

4. Town Pass

Town Pass is optional paid access at $9.99 USD a month, billed one month in advance by Stripe. A Pass starts when Stripe confirms payment and runs to the same date the next month. Stripe charges the next month shortly before the current month ends, so access does not lapse.

Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal if you do not want the next month charged, using the link in your Stripe receipt or by writing to support@flaretown.com. Canceling stops the next charge. You keep access until the paid month ends. Refunds follow the FAQ: the current month is generally not refunded once access has started, and we refund charges made by mistake, failed checkouts that still charged you, and anything the law requires.

The Pass adds longer chart history beyond the free 7 days, the Workshop calculators, on-site alerts, and the Citizen test, as described on the site. Workshop calculators are practice math on numbers you type. They are not a forecast and not an offer to transact. We may change what the Pass includes with notice on the site. A change does not refund a month already started unless the FAQ says so or the law requires it.

If a payment does not complete, no Pass has started.

5. Pioneer and Settler numbers

Pioneer numbers are the first 100 citizen seats. Seat #01 is held by the owner. Seats #02 to #05 are gifts from the owner. Public numbers start at #06. After #100, new citizens are Settlers. Other seats, if offered, are granted, not sold.

A number already issued is not erased because you cancel. Paid tools end when the paid month ends. A number is a badge on this site. It is not a transferable asset, not an NFT, and not store credit.

6. Payments

Payments run through Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates. You pay on a Stripe page, not in a flaretown.com form. We do not receive or store full card numbers. Stripe may keep your payment method so monthly renewal can run. Taxes may be added where required. Stripe's own terms apply to the payment. Payouts go to Wicklight Ventures LLC.

7. Acceptable use

Do not attack or overload the site, scrape it in a way that harms the host, impersonate the Flare Foundation or any other project, present our readings as official prices, resell the Pass, share an unlock to avoid paying, or use the site to break the law.

8. Our content

Flare Town's art, words, layout, and walkthroughs are ours or used under license. Public market figures belong to their sources. You may not copy the site as your own product.

9. No advice, no warranty

Nothing here is an offer to buy or sell anything. Readings can be wrong and feeds can fail. THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost coins, lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages. Our total liability for any claim about the site or a Pass is the amount you paid us for the Pass in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing. Where the law does not allow these limits, the smallest limit the law allows applies.

11. Indemnity

If your misuse of the site causes a claim against us, you will cover the reasonable costs we must pay because of that misuse, to the extent the law allows.

13. Changes

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. If a change is material and you have a paid Pass, we will say so on the site, or by email if we have yours. Continuing to use the site after the date means you accept the new terms, except where the law requires your fresh agreement.

14. Law and disputes

These terms follow the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If we disagree, we will first try to resolve it informally for 30 days. After that, disputes go to arbitration in the United States, unless a consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring the claim at home. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
