Cookie Policy

Last updated 26 September 2026

1. What we use

Flare Town sets no advertising or analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics. Termly, which runs our consent banner, may set a cookie to remember your choice.

2. What stays in your browser

We use your browser's local storage, not cookies, for things that make the site work for you:

Light or dark theme.
Whether this browser is unlocked with Town Pass, and your Remember me choice.
Your alert settings, and which alerts you dismissed today.
An optional profile photo, if you add one.
The latest readings, so pages open quickly.

These stay on your device. They are not a mailing list and are not sent to us.

3. Hosts and payments

Netlify serves the site and may set strictly necessary cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages when you pay for Town Pass. Those are not Flare Town advertising cookies.

4. Your choices

Use Consent preferences in the footer to review your choice at any time. Clear this site's data in your browser to remove everything listed above. Questions: support@flaretown.com. See also the Privacy Policy.
